  15. Fortunately, I have the unique chance to choose a software 
  16. environment for parallel applications.
  17.  
  18. We have a cluster of 16 transputers under Helios.
  19. The system is:
  20.     Helios Sun I/O Server V3.85_parsytec_0.9 3rd April 1991
  21.     Copyright (C) Perihelion Software Ltd. 1987-1990
  22. a server for SunTools, but I want to use an X-Windows (Motif) surface.

  24. Of cause, I could use the ASCII-terminal interface to communicate with
  25. the cluster. Nevertheless, a comfortable software development is not possible,
  26. because I can not use multiple windows (one for every processor).
  27.  
  28. Does anyone know a possibility to use Helios with X-Windows (Motif)?
  29.  
  30. Any advice is welcome.
