  13. On British ITV, Tuesday 8/9/92 at 9 pm, something called a transputer was the 
  14. focus of a detective program ("Boon"). This device, a "printed circuit to help 
  15. computers talk to one another".

  17. Some of the technology was quite correctly portrayed. It seemed important that 
  18. "the FPU was on the same chip as the CPU", although the actor seemed 
  19. uncomfortable with the line.  The industrial spies seemed to spend a lot of 
  20. time stripping the data from proms or EPLD's or such.

  22. Perhaps it was not a good idea to hide the thing (even in its carefully labeled 
  23. antistatic wrapper) in the cistern of a toilet.
