-
- is the production manager for a South Australian based company which is
- in the process of installing a computerised position detection system in New
- York city. He has just discovered that he needs to replace 9 copies of a
- 512 byte EPROM (27C512 / 150 ns) in the system which has already been sent
- to New York.
-
- Request for advice:
-
- Is there any problem with the idea of sending a binary file
- created on an IBM PC Cross Assembler across the Network to New York?
- It would need to be transferred to my Macintosh via
- Apple File Exchange then sent to my unix box via FTP then transferred
- to somebody's unix box in New York via FTP who can then use the file
- to burn 9 EPROMs to be picked up by our representative in New York.
-
- Request for assistance:
-
- Is anyone in New York prepared to do this for us and what would be the charges
- for such a service?
- Please E-Mail me: jwwhite@ache.mad.adelaide.edu.au (John White)
- or contact Andy directly as above.
-
- Many thanks everyone for your time.
