- widths, as well as in mono or stereo. If your .snd file had been
- sampled at 8000 Hz, were in 8bit mu-law format and mono, Todd's advice
- would have worked.

- You need something like SOX that is capable of reducing sampling rate,
- sample width and channel number to the meager capabilities of Sun's
- current (is the SPARCstation 10 out yet? :-) audio hardware.
