  17. I'm having problems with a Sun running SunOs 4.1.2.
  18. Whenever I try to transfer a binary file with ymodem or
  19. zmodem, it fails.  The filename and size come through ok,
  20. but none of the blocks is successfully transferred.  If I use
  21. Kermit, it works fine--but I may grow old before the transfer
  22. completes.
  23.
  24. As far as I can tell, something is stripping off the 8th bit
  25. along the way.  I've tried stty cs8  and  stty pass8  to
  26. no avail.
  27.
  28. Any suggestions?  Am I way off base about the 8th bit?  Help!
  29.
  30.
  31. Many thanks in advance,
  32. Brian
