- Yes, it does. I saw the code while I was working at Sun. We also had a
- customer who measured the speedup in some older version of OpenWindows.
- It was not exactly what you would expect, but we found (as many people have)
- that the X primitives are too low level to take advantage of the full
- speed a GX can offer. The more graphics you do the better it gets.
- Now that you can eliminate the comms overhead with Direct Xlib,
- the speedup should be much higher.
