- I have an GreyScale IPX which has only an internal 207MB disk. With a 151MB /dev/sd0g
- partition allowing for 10% free, I have 136MB onto which I am trying to fit the basic
- Sun operating system, F77(Sun-1.4), CC(Sun-1.1), tcsh(6) and EMACS(18.58) with their
- man pages. I need to keep as much of an external 207MB disk for other software and
- data.
-
- The standard version-3 /usr/openwin is itself 75MB and I need to trim the unused
- stuff. There is 16.5MB of fonts most of which I suspect are unused.
-
- The Sun System & Network Manager's Guide have the contents of some of the
- subdirectories described but is not explicit as to what is absolutely needed.
-
- Any help and advice, or a directory listing of minimum requirments to be operational
- will be much appreciated.
-
- Thanks
