- Just curious how much sun's OpenWindows takes advantage of GX acceleration.
- I know there is sunGX.uu in the R5 distribution which compiles in GX
- support, but haven't heard about openwin. I assume that since the GX
- board is their product, they make good use of it, and, I notice signs
- of the hardware cursor (it sticks around for a bit after you're done!)

- Just curious about my new toy...
-
- BTW, I played the demo verision of SimCity and thought it was pretty good.
- so I ordered it. But isn't Sun phasing out NeWS? (Is phasing out the
- right term, or is it ``letting NeWS disappear''!) It will be very
- interesting to me to find out if there is a market for PeeCee type
- games on workstations. Quite a leap of faith on their part, I'd say.
-
- Enough rambling...back to work.
