- Ok, the simple question is "how loud can I play a sound on my Sun, as
- in sounding alarms"?
-
- I'm not sure exactly what I am looking for in an answer but the
- management is asking for decibel values. We have a call into Sun but
- for the moment are unable to get the right person with the answer.
- (FYI, I am not an audio knowledgeble person...!)
-
- The system is a Sparc2 workstation.
-
- So, does anyone have an answer, or can supply me with a better way to
- phrase the above question in order to get a reasonable answer?
-
- Also, as a side note, has anyone out there attached an amplifier or
- sounding system to sound alarms generated by an application? If so,
- could you pass on any data that might be useful to our future needs?
-
- Thanks in advance!
