  14. We have a broken Sun 16" Trinitron monitor.  It "sounds" fine when turned on,
  15. but there is no picture, no flicker, nothing on the screen.

  17. Is this a common problem with a well-defined fix?  I am handy with a soldering
  18. iron and have implemented net-published fixes on monochrome monitors before.
  19.  
  20. Any help, either for do-it-yourself fixes, or for pointers to cheap repair
  21. depots, would be appreciated.
