- I'm considering replacing my IBM RT with a color Sun sparc, probably an IPX.
- The RT has a Megapel color display board with a IBM 5081 Model 19 display.
- As far as I can see, this is a 19" Sony Trinitron monitor, and I've also
- seen it used with Parallax video display boards for both VAXes and RTs
- perhaps after a minor ECO (performed on-site at MIT's Project Athena.)
- If the 5081 could be used with a Sun, I could avoid spending the large
- additional sum for a Sun monitor, since the 5081 is in perfectly good
- working condition.
-
- I guess I'd like to ask if anyone already happens to know what the answer
- is here, or can help me pin down exactly what parameters I have to find
- out to determine this. Thanks!
