  15. I have a SparcStation 2 that crapped out this morning.  When I did reboots 
  16. it had all sorts of problems in /etc/rc.local with Memory fault - core dumped
  17. messages pouring out.

  19. So I shut it down, and replaced ALL its memory (32Mb).  When powered up,
  20. it reports:

  23.        PMAP = 00073000, Exp = ff00ffff, Obs = ff00eff

  25. ??? What is U207?  The memory banks are U311 to U318? so anyway, I thought 
  26. maybe that memory was no good, even though it was straight out of the box.
  27. So I put the old stuff back in, powered on AND THE SAME MESSAGE CAME UP.

  29. After the message, the thing just sits there.  No access of disks, nothing.
  30. It's a weekend here so no sun engineers are around, and the machine is
  31. our database server.
