- We are using Backup Copilot with a tape library of about 30 tapes.
-
- Every afternoon (3pm), a cron job (dumpex -n nzls02) runs which mails me
- the list of tapes that would be required by the dump.
-
- I load in the tapes and go home. At 2am the next morning the dump runs.
-
- Everything should be ok. BUT the dump seems to require the FIRST
- expired tape. If a tape expires between 3pm and 2am the next morning, and
- it has a lower index number than the tape I loaded, the dump won't run.
-
- Does anyone else use Backup Copilot? Noticed this problem? Have a
- solution? Please?
-
- Replies to me (at address below) & if I get any I'll summarise.
