- We have two suns at 4.1.2 that used to talk to each other. Then we
- re-partitioned the 207 MB internal of the IPX server and found that the
- external 1Gb disk wouldn't mount on the IPC client machine.
- (we didn't unmount it to start...)
-
- After serveral reboots apiece, and after finding that the IPX's
- 1G partition would mount to other sunos/ultrix
- clients and that the IPC could mount other servers we got frustrated
- and edited the /etc/exports to remove the access="hostname" and all became
- functional... The problem is that we don't want an open to the world mount.
-
- The /etc/rmtab file has been edited to clean out the remnants of the
- previous mount... and showmounts man pages predicted that the *BUG* of
- the previous mount showing up.
-
- Any clues are appreciated...
- thanks
