  13. We have two suns at 4.1.2 that used to talk to each other. Then we
  14. re-partitioned the 207 MB internal of the IPX server and found that the 
  15. external 1Gb disk wouldn't mount on the IPC client machine. 
  16. (we didn't unmount it to start...)

  18. After serveral reboots apiece, and after finding that the IPX's 
  19. 1G partition would mount to other sunos/ultrix
  20. clients and that the IPC could mount other servers we got frustrated
  21. and edited the /etc/exports to remove the access="hostname" and all became
  22. functional... The problem is that we don't want an open to the world mount.

  24. The /etc/rmtab file has been edited to clean out the remnants of the
  25. previous mount... and showmounts man pages predicted that the *BUG* of 
  26. the previous mount showing up.
