  15. Sorry for a naive question. I see from reading this group that
  16. there are a fair number of Sun patches which should be applied.
  17. What I do NOT understand is why when Sun goes, say, from 4.1.1
  18. to 4.1.2, the necessary patches for 4.1.1 still have to be made.
  19. Why did sun not incorporate the patches in the new distribution?
  20. Or am I misunderstanding the term "patch", which I would have 
  21. thought refers to a bug correction or an improvement?
