- I have the ARM security package, and am currently trying to set up the
- idlelockscreen feature. I've changed the Shell script provided to handle both
- X and OpenWindows, but the script will die trying to lock a person who has
- logged in on console, but hasn't started up a windowing environment yet.
-
- Is there an relatively easy way to find out if the person is running a
- windowing environment from a shell script? I suppose I could make the script
- simply not return an error when the lockscreen/xlock fails, but I would prefer
- to handle the sityation intelligently rather then simply ignoring the problem.
