- We have a SPARCstation 2 (running 4.1.1) with 2 ethernet interfaces,
- acting as a router between 2 subnets.
-
- Using arp -a, first on a machine on one subnet, then again on a machine
- on the other subnet, I get the same ethernet address for both the above
- machine's interfaces.
-
- Is this normal ?
-
- Does this mean it is changing the 'effective' ethernet addresses so the
- 2 interfaces are the same ? (or could I be doing something silly ?)
-
- MANY thanks
