  22. I tried this:  first I did
  23.     bru -cv file1
  24. and when it was done, followed it with
  25.     mt feom; bru -cv file2
  26. No complaints from bru, so I assume everything went OK.  The problem
  27. was with reading the data back.  If I just did
  28.     bru -tv
  29. all it found was file1.  By analogy with the archive creation procedure,
  30. I decided to try
  31.     mt feom; bru -tv
  32. This made bru very unhappy.  First it gave "warning: media appears to be
  33. unformatted" then it asked me to load volume 1.

  35. Could someone post a short script for appending an archive and then
  36. reading it back?  Also I am assuming that for more than 2 archives
  37. one would repeat 'mt feom' a total of (N-1) times before writing
  38. the Nth archive.  It would be handy if this could be automated in
  39. some way, instead of having to keep track of how many archives are
  40. on the tape.

  42. If someone has a script THAT THEY HAVE ACTUALLY USED
  43. as opposed to "this ought to work..." it would probably be very useful
  44. to a lot of people.
