- The problem seems to be SGI-specific. The make choked on the lack of
- a definition for ut_host in utmp.h, and I've heard previous comments on
- problems with a non-standard utmp.h on SGI's. I have no idea what the
- reality is and I'm not flaming SGI about this, but that seems to be where
- the problem lies.

- I find that people with SGI systems generally have a better idea of why
- stuff won't compile on an SGI than most, and after the basic compilation
- problems are resolved is the time to start reporting bugs.
- But I may be wrong.
