- Hi everyone,
- Yesterday I received and installed the 4.0.5A update on my Indigo. I've
- tried to set a policy of always holding onto a copy of the original system
- configuration files (/etc/init.d/{mail,network}, etc.) since I must modify
- them extensively to make my system work properly on the network here. Well,
- this time I screwed up and kept only my modified versions.
- Question: is there anywhere I can get a copy of the originals? Is it
- possible to extract individual files from inst images? All of the modified
- files are in eoe1.sw.unix. Would there be anything wrong with forcing inst to
- reinstall just this subsystem?
- Sorry to post an "I messed up, somebody please help me" message. Any
- help will be appreciated.
