  14. I need to process on another hardware 256 gray or color
  15.  images generated by Silicon Graphics applications, converting
  16.  them in TIFF format before processing.

  18. 1) In which format the images generated from SG graphics libraries 
  19.    are normally written?
  20.    
  21. 2) It is possible to convert in TIFF rel.5.0 format using bundled 
  22.    or public domain utilities?
