- Hi,
-
- I'm trying to change the IP address of our Iris 4D/35. I get
- the error:
-
- netlsd: Unable to register with locating broker communications
- failure (network computing system/RPC runtime)
-
- Now, with my old IP address, I can still telnet, ftp etc., but
- as soon as I change to my new IP address, it's no go. The error
- appears in both cases. I only change the IP address in the
- /etc/hosts file.
-
- Can someone help me out as to what the error is, and as to
- where I'm supposed to change the IP address so that I can
- access the net with my new address?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- please email me and post optionally.
- Andrew
