  12. On the subject of system tuning, I collect SAR reports from our PTX systems
  13. daily, and I wonder if anyone with solid information can expand on the SAR
  14. statistics iget/s, namei/s and dirblk/s .  I know they all have to do with
  15. various forms of filesystem lookups, but I'd like to know more about this.
  16. In particular, I'm wondering what kernel tune parameters affect these (ie.
  17. does increasing the inode table aid in iget/s or namei/s caching?).
