- On the subject of system tuning, I collect SAR reports from our PTX systems
- daily, and I wonder if anyone with solid information can expand on the SAR
- statistics iget/s, namei/s and dirblk/s . I know they all have to do with
- various forms of filesystem lookups, but I'd like to know more about this.
- In particular, I'm wondering what kernel tune parameters affect these (ie.
- does increasing the inode table aid in iget/s or namei/s caching?).
