  27. First, you are incorrectly assuming that there are only two choices for pen
  28. developers.  GRiD has sold more hardware and software than anyone else in the
  29. pen-based arena.  Go and Microsoft tend to get a lot more press because their
  30. stuff is based on snazzier operating systems while GRiD's is based on DOS.

  32. Second, it looks to me like Microsoft has backed off its pen-based hype lately 
  33. and is concentrating on getting NT going.  As GO seems to struggle more and more
  34. (there stuf is still REAL slow) in just getting things out the door, Microsoft
  35. sees less and less threat from them in the OS market.  Their pen-based stuff
  36. is more recent and hasn't had the time to build momentum.

  38. Finally, there seems to be an assumption that EVERYONE  has access to the net!
  39. Not so!  There are many companies that use mainly PCs and have little or no
  40. usenet access. This means those that use Microsoft Windows or DOS (GRiD or
  41. PowerPoint) are likely not to even have the ability to post things here.
