- This is an incredibly broad statement--what do you base this on? Considering
- the cost of an Exabyte (which is no more "industry standard" than a DAT),
- some $5K plus monopoly repair costs, I can't see how DAT is going to
- be "dead" in a few years. I'm happy with our DAT (Legacy 2200d) and not
- with our (early purchase) Exabyte. I can do something with the DAT; the
- Exabyte has never been usable (kept having parity conflicts with the
- SCSI card, among other things).
