  11. Can someone tell me a little about Btrieve?  I have a "canned"
  12. application that uses Btreive for it's data files, and I need to
  13. generate additional formatted reports using the data in the Btrieve
  14. data base.  I have NO access to source for the existing application.
  15. I need to know:

  17. 1.    How do you access Btrieve data?  Are apps written in a
  18. high-level language (like C) using Btrieve "calls"; does Btrieve
  19. have it's own "language" like dBase III; or does it use some standard
  20. like SQL?
  21.  
  22. 2.    What documentation is available on Btrieve and from where?  The
  23. Btrieve manual that came with Netware only talks about Utilities for
  24. administering the system; there's nothing in it about application
  25. interfaces, etc.
