- We have a 2.2 network installed in our office. We just purchased a 3.11
- which we want to install on a seperate server. We want to make the two
- servers talk to each other so that an user logged on a 2.2 station can
- have access to both servers. After trying many different combinations,
- we connected a 2.2 server with a 3.11 server via thin-coax and compex
- 16 bit arcnets. First we bring up 2.2, then 3.11. After that, we load the
- lan driver on the 3.11 and bind IPX to it. A few minutes later, we receive
- the following message:
-
- "Incomplete packets received".
-
- The number of packets continues to increase with time. We contacted Novell
- and were assured that this is possible. However we still have no success.
- Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
-
-
- Thank you in advance.
- George Pelekis.

- PS: We anticipate doing the same with 3.11 and 2.12.
