- I am currently using UUCP for mail and news. My host name is "prim".
- I have just set up a SLIP Internet connection with a host called
- "demon.co.uk". I would like to seamlessly switch over to using the
- Internet for my mail and news while still being able to _receive_
- mail and news queued up on the UUCP link. Does anyone have a simple
- list of the steps required? I noticed that when I finally established
- my first SLIP connection some mail appeared in the uucp log addressed
- to "prim.demon.co.uk!postmaster" - this mail never found it's way to
- my machines postmaster (root), presumably because it was looking for
- a hostname "prim.demon.co.uk" instead of "prim"? I don't want to
- change the hostname and mess up my current uucp link.

- Thanks for any help,
-
