- How in the bloody world do you set up a list of UUCP 'hosts' in order to send
- UUCP mail?? I'm currently on Internet, and trying to set up a UUCP local
- access port. I have a netinfo network, and the one machine that has the modem
- can 'sometimes' mail to the uucp folks, but no other machine anywhere can reach
- them. I try both the user@host.uucp and host!user form of address, but both
- fail. I've studied the sendmail.cf file, and it seems to fail at the point of
- handing the mail off to UUCP. I have nothing in netinfo for the uucp hosts
- (where?) and sop there's no surprise no other machines have heard of them.
- I think I need a uucp `map' file installed somewhere, or something like it.
-
- Any ideas at all? I'm being embarrassed by an Amiga system that's doing all
- this without a hitch!
-
- Thanks,
- Jim
