- I have a colleague who is thinking about buying a NeXTStation.
-
- However, he wants to know whether he will be able to connect
- it to a network at an institute in Germany that he may eventually
- return to (no sooner than a year from now). The institute uses a
- Novell network, with an Arcnet interface, whatever that is.
-
- Here is a description from someone at the institute:
-
- The network at our institute uses a so-called Arcnet interface
- to connect the server with the workstations, with simple
- telephone wires and standard U.S. telephone plugs.
-
- Can anyone tell me what will be involved in connecting the
- NeXTStation to the network, under NeXTStep 3.0?
-
- Feel free to ask for more information. I don't know more, but
- I can pass on such requests.
-
- Thanks a million.
