  18. I don't know about 3.0 or how the login window works, but here's what
  19.   we do here at Reed College.

  21. In /etc/rc.local we have the lines:
  22.     # A greeting on the login window.
  23.     dwrite loginwindow HostName "Welcome to `hostname`!"

  25. Works quite well and everyone likes it.
  26. Now if we could just get tiffs of the 7 deadly sins.
