  19. Bzzzzt!  Upgrade3.0.app wins, you lose :-)  I did the same thing under PR2, but
  20. Icon.app under 2.x is positively stable compared with Icon.app under 3.0 PR2.
  21. But then I've not received the 3.0 release yet, so maybe that was a PR2 quirk.
  22. But somehow, I doubt it.  The upgrade process probably marked Icon.app for
  23. removal for good reason.

  25. Now what I do is boot from my 2.1 MOD and mount my HD whenever I really need to
  26. use Icon.app.  Not the slickest solution, but it works.

  28. By the way, has anyone with 3.0 and a PLI SuperFloppy 2.8 tried to initialize a
  29. NeXT floppy?  Under PR2, I can initialize DOS and Mac floppies, but not NeXT.
  30. I get cylinder group magic number errors that fsck, disk, etc. can't seem to
  31. repair.  I hope it's not my drive and the problem's gone in 3.0.
