- Yes, 3.0 is really shipping. I got a call from our micro store yesterday
- to come and pick up my CD-ROM, and I installed 3.0 the same day. Wondeful.
- (They said that they had been trying to reach me since Wednesday).
-
- So, it is here. Even better is the fact that there are very few files
- only available as part of compressed packages, so people like me with small
- hard drives can mount the CD-ROM and access documentation and occasionally
- used tools straight from that, freeing up hard disk space.
-
- The only things in packages only are:
-
- English.pkg (contains on-line help stuff)
- NeXTTeX.pkg (the only annoying one for me, since I use TeX occasionally)
- NeXT_AppleTalk.pkg
- Sybase_DB-Library.pkg
-
- Regards,
-
- Richard.
