- Thanks for all the responses. In summary:

- TeX: Very powerful formatting language. Does everything. Unfortunately, the
- people here would still rather physically cut and paste then learn a new
- language.

- FrameMaker: Lots of features, but wasn't optimized for NeXTStep. (Also, just
- from what I see on the net, it crashes a lot.)

- PasteUp: New program?... I don't know much about it (except for that
- controversial post, of course!)

- And of course there are the various single purpose programs (word processors,
- drawing programs, etc, etc...)

- I'm thinking that FrameMaker might be what we're after, but I want to see what
- PasteUp is all about first.
