  32. There used to be a "Miscellaneous" Inspector subpanel in the 2.1 IB
  33. which allowed
  34. the size to be specified and also the name of the object. In your app,
  35. you could 
  36. then locate an object using its owner and name.

  38. The concept of a name is obviously still there since I've converted some
  39. 2.1 .nib
  40. files to 3.0 format and can still locate the objects within them, but
  41. the 3.0 IB
  42. doesn't appear to let you name the objects any more.
