- I had some problems with news last week, so I thought I had better repost this
- message.
-
- Is SQL*Net required in order to use DBKit with the Oracle Adaptor? Some poor
- soul out that has been using the adaptor, please let me know. I am getting no
- where currently with the DBModeler.
-
- I find no reference in the documentation to SQL*Net. In fact, the
- documentations state that only SQL*Plus access is needed. But, I am beginning
- to determine that this is in reference to access to Oracle, meaning if you have
- an account you can access Oracle with through SQL*Plus, you should be able to
- use the adaptor. However, there is a hint of SQL*Net in the DBModeler examples
- login strings.
