  23. Make sure that your NeXT isn't configured to be on a "Netinfo
  24. Network."  This is the usual cause of things like this, where the
  25. system is trying to bind to an upper level netinfo server on the
  26. network.  Usually, if you don't have a network connected, it just gets
  27. an "destination unreachable" error, but it is likely not getting that
  28. with the SLIP interfaces configured.

  30. I'm using it on my (just upgraded last night) 3.0 system, and it seems
  31. to work just fine.
