  11. Is it possible to use lpr-command to send faxes from command line, like

  13. lpr -PLocal_Fax_Modem SomeFile(s)    ???

  15. I'm running 3.0 pre-release 2, and I took a look at the spooled files
  16. dfAxxxx  and cfAxxxx after a) using the Fax Panel on a file b) doing
  17. lpr >bla bla< the_very_same_file.  Seems like the only differences in
  18. resulting data (PS) files are:

  20. 1. the cover page
  21. 2. lines starting with %NXFax...
  22.  
  23. One would think there could be a reasonable way of stuffing these strings
  24. (containing fax number, recipients name etc.) and the cover page in.
  25. The reason I'm interested in this stuff is that some people still have PeeCees
  26. on their desks, and they wanna send faxes, too (sigh).
