- I want to prepare for 3.0 and need to know the following:
-
- I want to run ethernet from a NeXTstation mono to two
- Macintosh's. I need two ethernet cards and NeXT software
- that will bring up Mac Apps on the 17 inch monochrome monitor
- adding to my screen realestate and allowing the NeXT keyboard
- and mouse to controll either Mac (SE/30 and next years rumored
- docking station) cpu. I also want to be able to switch between
- sessions without any problems. What would be a decent memory configuration
- (RAM) for the NeXT to be a front panel and file server?
- I need to do alot of music/multimedia/video stuff so I wonder
- what advantages 3.0 will have other than the most obvious.
- PC Week had an article concerning a new ethernet card at twice
- the speed of the old. Would this make a difference to my config?
- I know the XWindow's solution but wonder if things change with 3.0.
- Anybody got any ideas, oppinions, experiences, etc.
