  28. I work with the ITS product center here at RPI, which is to say the place  
  29. that sells NeXT-type things on the RPI campus (and other campuses in the  
  30. nearby area).

  32. Please note that the SCSI connector & terminator do not come with the CD-ROM  
  33. drive itself.  You must order them separately.  The reason they are separate  
  34. is that you will need different cables depending on whether you have any  
  35. other SCSI devices already on your NeXT.

  37. So if you're ordering a NeXT CD-ROM drive, do not assume the cables come  
  38. with it.  You'll have to order them as a separate item.  Presumably the  
  39. place you're ordering from will do that automatically, but it doesn't hurt  
  40. to check.  You'd be really upset to finally get the CD-ROM drive only to  
  41. find you can't hook it up because you didn't order the right cables!!
