- solutions, Dell Computer Corporation today announced four upgradeable
- personal computers based on Intel's new 66-megahertz (MHz)
- i486 DX2 microprocessor. The new microprocessor, introduced today by
- Intel, uses speed-doubler technology to deliver more than 25 percent
- higher processing speeds than the i486 DX/50MHz microprocessor, which
- previously offered the highest level of computing power available for
- PCs. Dell's new systems are available immediately and are among the
- first 66MHz systems to ship to customers.
