  15.     I only follow this group sporadically, but I have seen _some_  
  16. discussion of problems with connecting CD-ROM drives of various kinds to NeXTs.   
  17. Is there a FAQ for this?  I have looked several places and cannot find one.

  19.     I am specifically interested in using a CD-ROM drive to install the  
  20. upgrade to 3.0 (from 2.1).  I don't really need a CD-ROM drive for anything  
  21. else and would really like to be able to get by without purchasing a new one.   
  22. Is there a FAQ for the upgrade?  Again,  I looked in NeXTAnswers for info, but  
  23. there wasn't much.

  25.     Any help would be appreciated.  Also, I am not sure that my postings  
  26. are actually getting out since I have never had a reply to one.  Could some  
  27. kind soul (outside of Duke) please reply to this posting so that I will at
