  13. I believe the unit you speak of is FOUR TIMES SMALLER THAN MINE!!
  14. Explanation: when it was first announced (The Mitsubishi) I was willing to
  15. spend the 4,000 dollars for it (REALLY) but was told it ONLY DISPLAYED
  16. 640*480 pixels!!!! My monitor is 1280*960 (my 24 inch Moniterm) and thus
  17. has FOUR TIMES AS MUCH SCREEN AREA than the "older" 35 inch tube you claim
  18. is bigger than mine (four times as less pixels)

  20. regarding "Sony makes a 28" monitor (20" on a side) that displays
  21. 2048x2048" from the previous post... I have spent no less than 7 hours
  22. straight on the phone once trying to contact Sony about their high end
  23. monitors (I had a very simple request.... Whats your best)

  25. I was told to call CPD (Consumer Products Division) They said I had to call
  26. the professional broadcasting division. That department said I had to call
  27. the specialties group, and then I was sent back to consumer electronics. I
  28. never ever ever learned what Sony's largest MULTISYNCING monitor was.

  30. This 2048 by 2048 makes me disbelieve you if the current smalles trinitron
  31. pel element for a tri-phoshor group is 0.25 millimeters horizontally and
  32. (guessing) 0.4 millimeters vertically then for a vertical resolution of
  33. your claimed 2048 pel elements would measure (2048*0.4 mm = > 32 inches!!!!)
  34. Therefore either it is not a BRIGHT monitor using trinitron shadowmask,
  35. else it is A MARKETING LIE AND A TOTAL MYTH.

  37. I rest my case. Until I see otherwise, I still believe that I have the
  38. worlds largest computer monitor.
