  15. M is the behavioral language for the Lsim simulator.  Lsim is the simulator
  16. which started as part of the GDT toolset, from Silicon Design Labs (SDL).
  17. SDL merged with Silicon Compilers Inc (SCI) to become Silicon Compiler 
  18. Systems (SCS).  SCS was purchased by Mentor.  Lsim is a mixed level
  19. (behavioral, gate, switch, RC switch, adept), extensible (HSPICE, etc. may
  20. be accessed through Lsim...) simulator.  To call it a logic simulator
  21. would limit its flexibility...
