- We have the Mentor GDT tools and wish to use them in our "Introduction
- to VLSI Design" course. Unfortunately, LED is not set up to let
- students put individual layers down, instead allowing them to lay down
- transistors. While we understand that higher-level design is better
- for real-word applications, we want students to understand the
- fudnementals of ic design, especially how the layers interact with one
- another.
-
- Has anyone modified the technology files to allow LED to become an
- old-style polygon pusher? If so, would those technology files be
- available?
-
-
- Thanks in advance.
