  11. I have struggled for the past couple of days to upgrade a MacII from system 
  12. 6.0.5 to System 7.0.1.  Well, I thought I had a stable system after finding all
  13. the existing incompatibilities and annihilating them.
  14.  
  15. So I go to do some work on the machine, and I try to print to a networked
  16. LaserWriter, and WHAM!!!  "PrintMonitor has unexpectedly quit because an error
  17. of type 15 has occured."  Then to add insult to injury, (as if it is laughing
  18. at me) every 5 seconds the error box reappears!! (Because the Spool file is
  19. still in the PrintMonitor Documents folder.  The error stops flashing when I
  20. remove the spool file)

  22. Oh, I must say, What!?! is going on here?  Error 15 is a segment loader error.
  23. BTW, I did turn off all my extensions when testing this thing.
  24. Somebody, oh, somebody, PuLeeaSe know what to do and tell me.  My week has been
  25. bad enough already without having to spend time having to argue with 
  26. my system software about how to do its job.
