- A friend of mine read an article in USA Today (either Tuesday or
- Wednesday's edition) which apparently claimed that later System release
- for the Macintosh will no longer sport the Trash Can. The article said
- something about how it causes too much confusion....
-
- My friend also inferred from the article that this "trashless Finder"
- could happen as soon as System 7.1.
-
- Any creedence to this 'report'? I don't hold USA Today in any sort of
- esteem as a high-tech-reporting-journal, but he seemed to think it might
- be fact.
