- I have a Mac SE with a 40mb hard disk operating with System 7.0. There are
- several empty folders on the hard disk which I can't delete. After I place
- the empty folders in the trash and select 'empty trash' I get the message
- 'folder in use by the System and can't be removed'. I have tried the following
- procedures to remove the folders but without success:
- (1) emptying the trash with the option button depressed.
-
- (2) starting-up with System 6.03 on a floppy disk and then conducting the
- trash procedure.
-
- I would be pleased to receive any suggestions.
-
- Thanking you in advance.
