- You really never really know about prices until ship day. I wouldn't
- be surprised if Microsoft has learned a lesson or two about pricing
- and volume from selling Windows 2.

- As long as there is some profit in it, you *can* make up for a cheap
- price with volume.

- There is a large installed base that will never go to Windows NT,
- but then, there is a large installed base that will never even go to Windows
- as it is today. The big battle ground is what people use on new machines
- (Apple keeps this simple by not supporting System 6 on many of their new
- machines, Microsoft can't quite do that :-)
