  10. The Literate Programming Workshop 1.1 is now available via ftp.
  11.  
  12. The Literate Programming Workshop is an environment for the integrated
  13. development of program source text and documentation in combined documents.
  14. It consists of a WYSIWYG word processor based on a style sheet approach, a
  15. mechanism to extract parts of the text in a document, and a project management
  16. system that handles multi-document projects. The system is designed to be used
  17. in conjunction with MPW: it prepares raw source text for the MPW compilers,
  18. accepts MPW error messages, and shows them in the context of the original
  19. documents. Automatic indexing and hypertext features allow for easy access to
  20. both source text and documentation.

  22. Compared to LPW 1.0, LPW 1.1 adds the following features:
  23. - repeating tabs (the program editor kind)
  24. - Shift Left and Shift Right commands
  25. - triple clicking
  26. - Close All and Save All commands
  27. It also removes a few bugs.

  29. LPW 1.1 is shareware - if you use it for more than two weeks, you have to
  30. register your copy and pay the registration fee of $50.

  32. You can get LPW 1.1 via anonymous ftp from ftp.apple.com, directory
  33. pub/literate.prog. It is available as a StuffIt archive, in both binary and
  34. BinHex versions. The archive contains:
